Services range from the simple supply of reinforcing steel to a full project management function including commercial control and claims management. We are wholly committed to our clients and their projects and will as far as possible adapt to their requirements.

SUPPLY, CUT & BEND

Depending on the needs and requirements of our clients we can:

  • Supply the project from the LPM yard.
  • Limited scope on-site cutting and bending capabilities with bulk supplied from LPM works.
  • Full on-site cutting and bending capabilities including schedule capturing if required.

INSTALLATION

LPM offers a very cost effective and time efficient rebar installation solution.  Skilled personnel with many years experience in reinforcing steel installation guarantees our full support and attention to the needs of our customers at all times. As always quality remains the most important aspect of this service, and great attention to detail and compliance with drawings ensures the accurate first time success of these projects. LPM takes responsibility and fully controls this service, the customer has a single point of reference for all their requirements.  All installation is invoiced by LPM to avoid unnecessary duplication or administration difficulties to our clients.

PROJECT MANAGEMENT

We offer a full site management service.  Reinforcing schedules are issued to the project manager who will then liaise between the cut and bend plant, transport and installation teams to ensure that agreed upon program targets and goals are achieved.  This offers the customer the opportunity to simply agree on a time table with LPM and then only have to issue the schedules in time to facilitate the above. A full claim management and project progress tracking function is provided on any project where requested.

REINFORCING STEEL

•   All reinforcing steel supplied conforms to SANS 920 (Steel bars for concrete reinforcement).
•   All cut & bend complies with SANS 282 (Bending dimensions and scheduling of steel reinforcement for concrete).

MESH

LPM stocks a full range of reinforcing mesh, all conforming to SANS 1024 (Welded steel fabric for reinforcement of concrete). Any other reference of mesh can be sourced at short notice.
